At left is a very good reproduction of the badge for the Order of the Dragon, Sigismund's order of knights. This badge is a copy of the badge worn by Oswald von
Wolkenstein in the period portrait at lower left. (If anyone is familiar with Oswald and can tell me how he lost his eye, I'd be most grateful) Cast in solid gilded bronze, the badge measures approximately 3.75 inches (94 mm) in height.
